The IRIScan Book 3 Executive Portable Scanner from Iris lets you scan anywhere, even without a computer. This slim battery-powered scanner easily fits into your bag and can scan any flat surface up to 8.5" wide. The scanned images can be saved to the included microSD card as a JPEG or PDF. Once the images are on the scanner, they can easily be transferred to a computer via Wi-Fi, with the included USB cable or with a microSD card reader (not included). Once the scanned images are on your computer, you can use the included Readiris OCR software to convert the scans to a searchable PDF or an editable text file such as a Word document or Excel spreadsheet.

The built-in Wi-Fi lets you instantly transfer your files to your computer (Windows or Mac), smartphone, or tablet (iOS or Android). Because the scanner uses its own wireless network to communicate with your device, no Internet connection is required to transfer files. Additionally, the IRIScan Book 3 Executive lets you transfer files to a PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone
